Safehouse Firearms Instruction is almost ready… I promise.
I had hoped that everything would be ready to go and classes would start the first week in June. That didn’t happen. With only seven people processing the increasing number of NRA Instructor needs and requests, their workload was far more than they could handle in my planned timeline.
I have been assured, however, that I should have all the paperwork I need in place as soon as two weeks from now – but no later than the end of the month. Until then… I wait.
As I wait, I think about what I can do to better serve my future students. One of the things I have come up with is Private Classes. I have noticed an increasing number of folks who want to obtain their Kansas Concealed Carry Handgun License, but don’t want anyone to know that they have it. They want it to be private.
So, to help accommodate these individuals, I will be offering Private CCHL classes. My thought is that these classes will be conducted primarily at the student’s residence and be attended only by others invited by the host student.
One of my goals is to find ways to serve those looking for quality firearms instruction here in Topeka and hope that offering Private Classes might meet some special needs.
